The San Marcos River is a 72 degree, crystal clear, spring fed river in the heart of Central Texas. On this trip we paddled 7 miles from City Park to San Marcos Scout Camp. The river flow was 163 cfs at the San Marcos gauge. We wanted to showcase some of the highlights of this beautiful river and show folks what portages to look out for.
